Michelle Kinzer serves as a Legislative Assistant for PSW, working to support clients on issues related to trade, energy, transportation, and small business.
Prior to joining Public Strategies Washington in June 2017, Kinzer spent three years with Senator Tim Kaine where she managed the constituent correspondence database, generated metrics reports, and compiled targeted email lists for press newsletters and town halls in the Commonwealth. She also used ArcGIS to spatialize internal correspondence data and made an interactive Virginia map for the National Park Service’s 2016 Centennial.
Kinzer is a graduate of Virginia Tech where she earned her B.A. in Urban Planning with a concentration in Global Development and minors in Political Science and Spanish. She developed a working proficiency in Spanish while studying abroad in Valparaíso, Chile.
Kinzer’s first job in Washington was in high school as a U.S. Senate Page appointed by Senator Jim Webb. She is a D.C. area native.
