Becca Durr is a principal with PSW, working with the firm’s clients on matters relating to retirement policy, healthcare, federal tax policy, and financial services.
Prior to joining PSW, Durr served as the Senior Director of Legislative Affairs for the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), a principal national trade association serving the interests of over 5,000 credit unions across all 50 states. In that capacity, Durr led on a variety of financial services issues ranging from cybersecurity, to cannabis banking and federal tax policy. Before joining CUNA, Durr served in the political affairs department for the American Medical Association (AMA), the largest professional association of physicians and medical students in the United States.
Earlier in her career, Durr served as the Director of Corporate Relations for the Democratic Governors Association (DGA), advising Fortune 500 companies on their political engagement strategies. Prior to that, Durr served in political roles for Leader Nancy Pelosi, Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO), Congressman Joaquin Castro (TX-20), Congressman Dan Maffei (NY-24), Congressman Chet Edwards (TX-17) and at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).
Originally from Austin, Durr holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Texas at Austin.
