Tom Nagle is a principal with Public Strategies Washington, working with the firm’s clients on matters relating to appropriations, transportation, agriculture, defense, energy, healthcare, telecommunications, and Native American issues.
Prior to joining PSW, Nagle served as Director of U.S. Government Relations for Accenture, where he led the company’s federal government relations program. In that capacity Nagle worked directly with internal senior leadership in a variety of industries, including healthcare, transportation, cybersecurity, financial services, and federal procurement. He also oversaw Accenture’s PAC and managed the company's political activities.
Before joining Accenture, Nagle served New Mexico Senator Tom Udall as Chief of Staff for 12 years, eight in the House and four in the Senate. Nagle led a diverse staff of 45 people and acted as the Senator's chief strategist on issues of critical importance to New Mexico, including those before the Senate Committees on Commerce, Science & Transportation, Indian Affairs, Foreign Affairs, and Environment & Public Works. He also managed Udall’s external political team. Prior to departing the Senate, Nagle helped lay the groundwork for Senator Udall’s appointment to the Senate Appropriations Committee.
Earlier in his career, Nagle served as the Financial Services Director at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and as Political Director for the National Association of Letter Carriers. He is a graduate of Princeton University and is active in the Senate Democratic Chiefs of Staff Alumni Group.
