Patrick O'Neill is managing principal at PSW, working with a variety of clients on issues relating to commerce, small business, transportation, energy, agriculture, financial services, immigration, appropriations, and federal tax policy. O’Neill also oversees PSW’s staff and operations.
Prior to joining Public Strategies Washington in 2007, O’Neill spent three years as Manager for Political Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. In this capacity, O’Neill directed the Committee of 100, a coalition of top trade association CEOs. He also managed grassroots advocacy and coalitions within the U.S. Chamber’s federation of small businesses.
Prior to his Chamber responsibilities, O’Neill served in a variety of senior management and political roles for the Democratic National Committee and the Kerry for President Campaign in 2003-2004. He remains active in democratic politics, serving in advisory roles on key several Congressional races each cycle.
O’Neill earned his B.A. in Political Science from Duke University, where he was a member of the men’s varsity lacrosse team for four years. He has an M.B.A from Georgetown University, and serves on multiple non-profit boards, including for the Lead the Way Fund, which provides support for Army Rangers and their families.
